A package is a separate hosting environment and control panel; websites within it share that package's website storage and resources. Portfolio provides 50 GB of website storage for each of its three packages, 150 GB in total. Unmetered bandwidth has no fixed monthly transfer allowance; normal website traffic is covered subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Prices are monthly and exclude VAT. How many websites can I host on one package?

Your website allowance depends on the plan you choose. Each independent website hosted in the package counts towards that allowance and can use its own domain and website files.

Does each website have its own control panel?

No. All websites within the same Linux Hosting package are managed through one hosting control panel. If you need completely separate hosting environments or control panels, separate packages may be more suitable.

Do all my domain names count towards my website allowance?

No. Each independent website can use its own domain and document root, but you can own or manage other domains separately. A domain used only to redirect visitors to an existing site does not need to be hosted as an additional website.

Do the websites share the package's storage and resources?

Yes. Storage and other package resources are shared across all websites in that package. The stated storage allowance is the total available across the package, not a separate allowance for each website.

Do I need to move my existing website before adding another?

Usually not. Your existing primary website can normally remain in place while each additional website is assigned its own document root.
